Learn Julie Prichard’s skill set for developing complex shapes while visual layering and creating nuance. This workshop features separate videos for each skill set she identified for her process PLUS video of her painting, “Origins”, start to finish demonstrating the skills and live troubleshooting along the way. This workshop includes a new process that is not available in Julie’s prior workshops that we love. Paint along with the practice painting start to finish OR practice the skills individually to add them to your own voice…or both!
This workshop features professionally edited HD video with 3 camera angles! You won’t be looking at the artists’ back and trying to figure out what is happening; You’ll feel like you are right in the studio with Julie. Class includes a 28 page downloadable handout which includes notes, the supply list AND progress photos of the painting that you can examine while watching the video. The handout also includes progress photos and notes for Julie’s painting, “Throw Flowers”, 2023 as an added bonus!
You’ll work with a limited color palette that we have designed for its ease of use. Golden Acrylic Glazing liquid is required. There are no time limits for this workshop, you will have unlimited playback. This workshop also includes access to Julie’s private Facebook Group where you can ask questions and provide your own progress photos for feedback as often as you like. Julie responds to her students multiple times per day as needed.
