Practice. Purpose. Pretty Happy.

I was mentioning in my online network that I painted over 140 junk paintings before I had a handle on what I was doing. Since I started painting, I have painted hundreds of paintings, and the occasional mishap does still occur, but I am able to manage my mistakes much more easily now because of my experience. I feel like this is a valuable lesson for everyone to learn while taking online workshops.

Since quarantine began for us, back on March 19, I have been at home busily replying to an influx of current and new students who are taking this time to hone their painting skills, and I couldn’t be more happy. Days are busy and I am spending a lot of time online in the Facebook group for class, and answering questions that arrive via email. I am having a ball marking up student work to help everyone understand my words even better. I feel a sense of value now more than ever, something that has always been important to my well being.

I know there are people that are feeling isolated at this time. I know that people want to connect and are looking for new ways to spend the days while staying home, and staying safe. In order to help as much as I can, I am offering all of the online painting workshops on sale through quarantine…don’t forget, first time customers can also use the code WELCOME at check out to save even more money.. Maybe you’d like to browse my IGTV channel for some quick inspiration. How about a garden tour?

Hands down, my favorite thing to do during quarantine, aside from spending more time with my family, and slowing downing general, has been to help painting students online.

Omg! You’re so helpful! I can’t thank you enough! I was nervous to even post a pic of it, but I’m so glad I did! ❤️
