As The Seasons Change....so do I..

This Friday, The San Diego Art Institute will hold a reception for it's Outstanding Visual Artists of the Region and One-Foot shows.  It is a great space with such a wide array of works to be seen in one spot. Two of my pieces were juried in to the upcoming show. I am really excited to be in the show again...my goals and the shows are coming to an end for the year soon and I have to say it's been a great ride this year with the gallery... I am not sure if I will continue to try to get into the shows as heavily as I did this year, but maybe a show here and a show there for 2014. If you're in San Diego, the reception begins at 6:30.

We finally have some cooler weather this week...nothing crazy like "real" fall..but temps in the mid 70's are always welcome. I am feverishly working on a stitch guide for my sewing class as well as the two quilts I want to finish..after that I will continue to learn. I am really enjoying the sewing club that came with the purchase of my machine. So many great ladies!

Oh...and online workshop ideas are percolating.....a new class is almost born. :)

My sale on the massive, "Mixed Media Variety Hour" online mixed media workshop ends Saturday...it's a GREAT deal. You can see all of the details here
