Teach Art to Your Children v 1.9

A super simple lesson for you this week...but an important lesson. I spoke to my daughter about "perspective" today. We looked at pictures of railroad tracks and sunsets online. We studied the horizon and the way things in the distance look smaller than those up close. The building blocks of art.

For this lesson, we used colored tissue paper cut into rough rectangles and a little glue. We arranged the blue and orange tssue to create a horizon and added a sun using balled up tissue...following the photo of  sunset as a guide.

It was that simple and that quick..but something new that will stick with her forever. Now, what are you waiting for? Go teach art to your kids. Anyone can do it!
